I've been drawing all my life. Besides
abstract thinking, the natural world is my major source of inspiration,
and has been ever since I picked up a pencil. Its creatures, plants
and landscapes are amazing works of art in themselves, and I have
spent considerable time researching both their scientific and artistic
aspects. I started out as a traditional artist, and only recently
did I branch out into fantasy, surreal and anime themes, and even
then I rely on nature for inspiration and structure plus my creative
whims. I am naturally drawn to exotic, aboriginal, and mysterious
themes, people, creatures and ideas, and hopefully this is evident
in my work.
I love water, the ocean and all
the creatures that live in it. Ever since I can remember I've been
fascinated with whales, dolphins, fish and shells, so it's only
natural for me to focus on this element in my art. Mermaids have
become my favorite subject. As a college student, my majors are
Fine Arts and Linguistics. Living in several countries and speaking
5 languages has greatly influenced my art and has given me many
opportunities closed to many by language barriers. In the future
I hope to make a full-time career as a professional artist/designer
and develop myself further as a creative person.
